FAQ / CONTACT

Clear answers before a first conversation.

Professional trip sitting has clear boundaries. Read the answers below, then use the private inquiry form below.

IS TRIP SITTING THERAPY?
No.

Trip sitting is a non-clinical support service centered on presence, safety, practical comfort, and containment.

ARE YOU A PSYCHOTHERAPIST?
No.

I work as a transformational and psychedelic integration coach and professional sitter within a non-clinical scope.

DO YOU PROVIDE PSYCHEDELICS?
No.

I do not sell, supply, source, purchase, store, transport, prepare, or provide psychedelic substances.

WILL YOU TELL ME WHAT PSYCHEDELIC TO TAKE?
No.

Choosing whether to use a psychedelic—and which experience to pursue—is the client's independent decision.

WILL YOU TELL ME HOW MUCH TO TAKE?
No.

I do not prescribe, recommend, approve, or design psychedelic dosing protocols.

WILL YOU ADMINISTER THE PSYCHEDELIC?
No.

I am functioning as a sitter rather than a psychedelic facilitator.

WHAT IF YOU DON'T THINK THE SITUATION IS APPROPRIATE?

I may decline an engagement whenever the proposed circumstances fall outside my professional scope or I do not believe I can responsibly provide the requested support.

WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO WHILE SOMEONE IS JOURNEYING?

I remain sober, attentive, grounded, and available. Depending on the client's needs, that might involve long periods of quiet presence, brief reassurance, practical assistance, environmental adjustments, listening, grounding, or implementing an agreed safety plan.

WILL YOU INTERPRET MY EXPERIENCE?
No.

I may help you explore your own understanding afterward through integration coaching, but I will not tell you what a vision, symbol, memory, spiritual experience, or emotional event objectively means.

DO I HAVE TO BELIEVE IN SPIRITUALITY?
No.

The work should respect religious, spiritual, agnostic, atheistic, scientific, psychological, philosophical, and mixed worldviews.

DO YOU PROVIDE MEDICAL SCREENING?
No.

Relevant health information may be discussed as part of determining whether a sitting engagement appears appropriate, but I do not provide medical clearance. Questions regarding medications, medical conditions, psychiatric conditions, contraindications, or substance interactions must be taken to an appropriately qualified health professional.

WHAT HAPPENS IN AN EMERGENCY?

A clear emergency plan is established beforehand. If circumstances indicate that emergency medical assistance is required, safety takes priority over maintaining the psychedelic container.

WHO IS THIS FOR?

Adults who have independently chosen a psychedelic experience and want a sober, grounded person present who understands altered states, professional boundaries, preparation, and integration.

WHO IS THIS NOT FOR?

People looking for psychedelic substances, dosing advice, a psychedelic facilitator, medical supervision, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, emergency mental-health care, someone to guarantee a breakthrough, someone to validate every interpretation of a psychedelic experience, or an authority figure to tell them what their experience means.

BEGIN WITH CLARITY

Clear boundaries create safer work.

A first inquiry should establish the kind of support you are looking for, the practical circumstances, and whether this is the right fit before sharing private details.

PRIVATE INQUIRY

Begin with the right information.

The public inquiry form does not collect detailed medical information. Detailed personal or health information should only be collected later through an appropriate private intake process.

SAFETY, ETHICS & SCOPE

Clear Boundaries Create Safer Work

  • confidentiality
  • informed consent
  • client autonomy
  • professional boundaries
  • sitter sobriety
  • emergency planning
  • respect for personal beliefs
  • no sexual or romantic interaction
  • touch only within clearly established consent and boundaries
  • no coercion
  • no medicine administration
  • no dosing recommendations
  • no diagnosis
  • no medical treatment
  • no psychotherapy
  • referral to appropriate professionals when needs exceed scope
  • right to discontinue or decline unsafe or inappropriate engagements

Safety takes priority over interpretation.

If something requires medical attention, it should not be reframed as a spiritual breakthrough in order to avoid obtaining help.

I do not:

  • sell psychedelic substances
  • provide psychedelic substances
  • source psychedelic substances
  • purchase psychedelic substances for clients
  • transport psychedelic substances
  • store psychedelic substances
  • prepare psychedelic substances
  • serve or administer psychedelic substances
  • recommend which psychedelic someone should take
  • prescribe or recommend a psychedelic dose
  • comment specifically on whether someone's proposed dose is correct
  • design psychedelic dosing protocols
  • advise clients how to combine substances
  • provide medical advice
  • diagnose mental health conditions
  • practice psychotherapy
  • provide psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy
  • represent myself as a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, psychotherapist, nurse, pharmacist, or other regulated health professional
  • interpret visions for clients
  • tell clients what their psychedelic experience "means"
  • impose spiritual beliefs on clients
  • guarantee healing, transformation, breakthroughs, mystical experiences, or any particular outcome

Clients independently make their own decisions regarding psychedelic use and remain responsible for complying with all applicable laws. If a proposed situation appears unsafe, inappropriate, outside my competence, inconsistent with my professional boundaries, or something I cannot responsibly support, I reserve the right to decline the engagement.
